The President of the Law Society, Lucy Scott-Moncrieff, will be giving Norfolk Community Law Society’s annual public law lecture on Thursday, May 9th, at the Hostry, Norwich Cathedral, at 6pm. Lucy will be speaking on the subject of “Access to Justice – where do we go from here?”, considering the impact of the legal aid reforms on the public and how the social justice deficit might be addressed.
There will be plenty of time for questions and networking afterwards with a glass of wine. Tickets, including refreshments are £12 (£10 for NCLS members and £6 for students). To make sure of your ticket, email Jayne Turner, honorary secretary of NCLS, at email@example.com with the number and type of tickets required. All proceeds are in aid of Norfolk Community Law Service.
NCLS is a small registered charity providing free legal advice, specialist legal advice and in some cases representation. It is supported by the pro bono work of some sixty local lawyers, and has a strong partnership with UEA Law School.
